The large white butterfly has white wings with the forewing tips being black. The females have two black spots on the forewings. The underside is similar in colour but the hindwings are a pale greyish-green.

Where to sight species

Found wherever there are flowers and suitable food plants for it. Can be regarded by gardeners as a pest and seems to love the vegetable patch. It can be seen at many locations on the island.
