|This butterfly is tiny, it is only approx 2.5- 3cm in wingspan. It is pale blue with a thin black edging. The female shown right has a heavier marked edging. The underside is pale blue almost silvery white with tiny black spots.|

Can be found on woodland clearings and hedgrows. Can also be seen around parks and gardens.This one was spotted at the Ventnor botanic gardens.
